Our Story

Founded over 20 years ago in the dining room of a local church, The Village Food Pantry began as a small effort to help a single family during Thanksgiving. Since then, we have grown into a vital community resource, serving hundreds of families every week.
Our roots run deep in the local community, and we have remained steadfast in our mission: to never turn away a family in need. Over the years, the Pantry has expanded its programs while maintaining a personal, neighborly approach.
Board of Directors
At the Village Food Pantry, our Board of Directors is more than a governing body — they are the heartbeat of our mission. This remarkable group not only provides strong, thoughtful leadership, but they also roll up their sleeves and work alongside our volunteers every week.
Their hands-on commitment reflects what authentic servant leadership looks like. From stocking shelves and packing bags to connecting with the families we serve, this board leads by example — always putting others first.

Our Community Outreach
Volunteer Opportunities
We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds to join us in our efforts to serve those in need. Whether you can spare a few hours a week or a few days a month, your time and dedication can make a significant difference in the lives of our neighbors.
Donation Programs
Your financial or in-kind contributions are vital to our ability to stock our shelves and provide a wide range of nutritious food options. We gratefully accept donations from individuals, businesses, and community organizations.
Power of Community
We believe in the power of community. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of our neighbors. We actively engage with local organizations to provide resources. Our goal is to empower families to achieve long-term food security.
